There are those celebrities that broadcast their baby showers in the media (like Britney Spears, Brooke Shields, Tori Spelling, and Nicole Richie did) and there are those that were able to keep their baby showers extremely private, with little snippets (either covertly taken and worthy of a Navy SEAL or sometimes even stolen) leaked to the media. Lately, those with extremely private baby showers were Angelina Jolie, Christina Aguilera, and Jennifer Lopez.
J. Lo was all about the “bling thing” at her baby shower. Unfortunately, the only pictures were those where she and hubby Mark Anthony were entering and leaving the venue. Held at the extremely luxe Gramercy Park Hotel's rooftop restaurant, the normally serene and discreetly glistering roof deck must have been sparkling like a crystal chandelier.
The baby shower was held in the late afternoon and hosted by Elaine
Goldsmith-Thomas, who produced Jennifer Lopez's smash hit movie
“Maid in Manhattan.” Swarovski crystals were definitely
the theme of the day, with insider reports talking about pink and
blue decorations all over the place. With Swarovski crystals decorating
everything and everyone's take-home favor being pacifiers studded
with Swarovski crystals, it must have been a really starry night!
