This recipe for butterscotch bars will make a yummy sweet treat at your baby shower sprinkle or party.
BUTTERSCOTCH BARS
Ingredients –
2 eggs
1-1/2 cups brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
½ cup butter, melted
1 tbsp corn syrup
1-1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 cup chopped nuts of your choice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Beat eggs until foamy. Add sugar, vanilla, melted butter, and corn syrup. Continue to beat until creamy.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to the egg mixture and blend well. Stir in chopped nuts.
Spread batter on a greased rectangular 13 x 9 x 1 inch pan. Baked for 30 minutes or until light brown. Cut into bars while hot.
